Privacy statement

Hilux Media values your privacy. This statement explains which personal data we process, why, and what rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who we are

2. What data we process

Contact and concept requests. When you complete a form (for example for a free concept or contact), we process the data you enter: name, email, phone number, company name and your message. Purpose: to respond to your request and provide our services. Legal basis: (pre-)contractual performance and our legitimate interest in communicating with you.

Website usage (analytics). With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure how our website is used so we can improve it. This only happens after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. Legal basis: consent.

3. Cookies

We use:

• Functional storage — such as your language and cookie preference (stored in your browser). These are needed for the site to work and require no consent.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) — only placed after you give consent. If you decline, no analytics cookies are placed.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser; the banner will reappear on your next visit.

4. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your data. We do use service providers (processors) that process data on our behalf:

• Supabase — storage of form submissions (database).
• Google (Analytics) — website statistics, only with consent.
• Vercel — website hosting.

Data processing agreements are (or will be) in place with these parties. Processing may take place outside the EEA; in that case we ensure appropriate safeguards.

5. Retention

We do not keep your data longer than necessary. Request data is kept as long as needed for follow-up and, in case of a collaboration, for the duration of the agreement and any statutory retention periods thereafter. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability. You may also withdraw any given consent at any time. Send your request to info@hiluxmedia.com; we respond within the statutory period.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

7. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access restrictions.
